Luke arrived safely to
Afghanistan.
It was a wonderful
sound to hear his voice
on the phone, after several
days of no phone calls.
He is on his way
to many long, challenging
hours of work ahead.

I must confess that we
are doing well here at home.
This time around we
are lucky enough
to have our niece for the
whole duration of
Luke's absence.
Although Luke is VERY
much missed it has been a
vast improvement from
previous deployments
to have the extra help around
the house.
